We are calling on NSW Labor to allow party members to hold branch meetings. The General Secretary, Bob Nanva must allow rank-and-file members to contribute to the political direction of our party. It is plainly anti-democratic to deny us this right.Join other branch members from across NSW in our call to restore rank-and-file democracy.

You can read more about our campaign and the actions taken to date by the NSW Labor Administrative Commitee in an article written by party member, Richard Walsham, here.

We Need Online Meetings Now More Than Ever

The NSW Labor Administrative Committee has called a sub-committee meeting to consider digital rank-and-file democracy on Thursday 14 January. The sub-committee was established in the wake of a general meeting of NSW Labor Members, which demanded online branch meetings and the restoration of party activity. While Admin's committment was a big win for rank-and-file members, Head Office is yet to commit to online democracy.

Please use this tool to send an email to NSW Labor General Secretary, Bob Nanva, calling on him to ensure that the sub-committee considers rules changes to allow party units to meet electronically via Zoom or a similar medium.  We cannot allow this process to become another dead end review of democracy in our Party. By sending an email you are ensuring that the momentum for our collective campaign keeps moving forward.

Digital democracy offers our party an invaluable opportunity to make our party more accessible, larger, and democratic.

ALSO! Please register for the second all-in meeting of NSW Labor members via Zoom at 7pm on 28 January. We will be discussing where we go to from here now that Head Office are responding to our demands.
