Fight One Nation's 'Parental Rights' Bill

The NSW Labor Teachers network calls on the State Parliamentary Party to support the NSW Teachers Federation and Independent Education Union by opposing One Nation’s ‘Parental Rights’ Bill. We ask that the SPLP stands against this divisive legislation in support of teachers, students, and the LGBTQI+ Community.

We are asking NSW Labor members to put pressure on the party’s leadership to oppose One Nation’s Bill. This campaign will send an email to the Shadow Education Minister, Prue Carr.

Participating in this action will send a pro-forma email to the Shadow Minister for Education, Prue Car. The email explains why the NSW Labor Teachers Network opposes One Nation's 'Parental Rights' Bill and why NSW Labor Parliamentarians must oppose the legislation in its entireity.

You can read the Labor Teachers Network's full statement outlining the case to oppose The Bill here. The statement explains the essential features of One Nation's agenda and what it means for NSW Schools, teachers, and students.
